Paradise Street Case Study
UKs largest multi utility contract
Core was commissioned to provide a full multi-utility solution for this prestigious retail development in 2004. Paradise Street in Liverpool has been the largest multi-utility contract to have been awarded in the UK.
The project was given the go-ahead as a result of Liverpool regeneration and investments from its ‘City of Culture’ status. Core was involved in the programme from an early stage and provided:
- Disconnection and diversion works required prior to site clearance
- A number of primary and secondary substations all designed, installed and commissioned by Core
- Support by a dedicated team based on site, including Project Managers and designers
- Continuous liaison with architects, contractors and main developer to accommodate design changes, build programmes etc.
- Sewage pipe work
- Design of rising lateral mains and service connections for all services, together with containment systems for each unit
Size, complexity and end-to-end project management - this large scale project demonstrates that Core can deliver when it counts.
