Accessibility
We've designed this website with accessibility in mind.
You can control the size of the text, the colours, the style sheets and even use special 'access keys' instead of a mouse to navigate your way through its pages.
Access Keys
- ALT – 0 (then Enter) to go to the Accessibility page
- ALT - 1 (then Enter) to go to the homepage
- ALT - M (then Enter) to go to Main Menu links
- ALT - S (then Enter) to go to Sub Menu links
- ALT - C (then Enter) for main page content
Please note that some browsers don’t support access keys.
Finding your way around
If you’re using a screen reader, pressing Alt - M (then enter) will take you to the Main Menu. From there, you can use the tab key to navigate through the various links.
Font sizes
You can make the text as big or small as you like.
In Internet Explorer, select View, then Text Size, and specify your preferred size.
In Firefox, select View, then Text Zoom, and choose your preferred percentage size.
Style sheets
In Internet Explorer, select Tools, then Internet Options, followed by Accessibility. Next, click on any or all of the three checkboxes to ignore colours, font styles or font sizes. Change your style sheet by clicking the checkbox that says 'format document using my style sheet', browsing to your style sheet and clicking OK. Simple as that!
In Firefox, select Edit, then Preferences, followed by Appearance. This will enable you to specify your own colours and fonts.
