Understanding and managing the impact we have on the environment and striving for continuous improvement is a significant part of Network Connections overall approach to corporate responsibility.

Environmental Management

The Company operates in accordance with a documented and independently certificated Integrated Management System which is compliant with the requirements ISO 14001.

In order to maintain high standards of environmental provision the Company shall:

• Prevent pollution.
• Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and other applicable requirements pertaining to the Company’s activities and environmental aspects.
• Set and review environmental objectives and targets to drive continual environmental improvement.
• Provide materials, resources and additional personnel as appropriate to implement the requirements of this Policy.
• Control and where practicable reduce the consumption of raw materials and the production of waste.
• Develop the environmental awareness of the workforce through effective education and training to ensure that they are suitably competent to undertake their allocated duties.
• Monitor environmental performance and communicate findings as appropriate.
• Work closely with clients to ensure that their environmental concerns and requirements are incorporated within the Company’s operations.
• Communicate the content of this Policy to all employees and contractors and make it freely available to customers, the general public and other interested parties.
• Review the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the Integrated Management System, including this Policy, at least on an annual basis.
